Alltech Biotechnology Private Limited, India has appointed Mr. Shery Kurian as Aquaculture Specialist for India and the surrounding regions.

Mr. Kurian obtained his Bachelor of Fishery Science (B.F.Sc) degree in 1998 from College of Fisheries, Kerala Agricultural University. He then went on to complete his MBA in 2000 at the Cochin University of Science and Technology. Mr. Kurian has previously worked for companies involved in biotechnology and Aqua nutrition throughout India.

Mr. Kurian will be responsible for the development of sales of the company’s range of products in the Aquaculture sector. He will also be coordinating research projects with universities and institutions throughout India and surrounding regions. Shery Kurian will be based in Chennai. His appointment underlines Alltech’s commitment to developing the Aquaculture markets within the Indian subcontinent and throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
