Biochem recently acquired a new warehouse facility. The purchase agreement marks a significant step in the company’s continued growth and commitment to improving customer service.

“We are pleased to announce the completion of this important acquisition,” said Alexander Grafe, general manager of Biochem. “This new warehouse will significantly enhance our operational efficiency and ensure that we can continue to meet the growing demands of our customers with increased reliability and speed.”

This strategic investment addresses Biochem’s commitment to improved delivery reliability and increased capacity for raw and finished goods storage. The new facility consolidates several smaller, leased warehouses into one central location, streamlining operations and optimizing logistics.

Located in Holdorf, Germany, the newly acquired warehouse, built in 2020, offers several key advantages: increased capacity with pproximately 5,600 square meters of floor space; enhanced efficiency with nine ramps and two ground-level gates, facilitating smooth and efficient loading and unloading operations; versatility with two warehouse sections offering flexibility for accommodating diverse product needs; and room to grow with 31,000 square meter property.

“This purchase supports our ambitious growth plans,” Grafe continued. “And enable us to expand our production capacity and explore new market opportunities.”

The increased storage capacity will enable Biochem to maintain higher inventory levels of both raw materials and finished products, leading to improved order fulfillment and faster delivery times for customers. The company also anticipates increased efficiency in its logistics operations, further strengthening its supply chain.
