Brenntag Specialties signs partnership with HiProMine to distribute insect-based products in Europe

Customers in the European animal nutrition and pet food industries will have access to the insect-based protein from HiProMine.

Brenntag signed an exclusive distribution agreement with insect company, HiProMine. This collaboration introduces HiProMine's solutions derived from the Black Soldier Fly larvae (Hermetia illucens) to the animal nutrition industry in Europe.

The products of HiProMine are characterized by their high protein content, excellent amino acid profile and presence of antimicrobial peptides that promote animal health. These products serve as protein and fat feed components with exceptional functional properties and promote animal health and welfare. HiProMine is GMP+ certified, demonstrating its commitment to the highest quality standards throughout the production chain.
