Corbion strengthens its business development team in animal nutrition

The company appointed Lenaïg Richard-Breivik and Bart Boomsma who bring over 25 years of combined experience in the aquaculture and animal nutrition.

Corbion appointed Lenaïg Richard-Breivik as business development manager for aquaculture and Bart Boomsma as business development manager for animal nutrition.

Lenaïg brings with her a wealth of experience and expertise that will drive the company’s growth and innovation in the aquaculture sector. Meanwhile, Bart is set to play a pivotal role in accelerating Corbion's growth in the pet and livestock sectors with a strong background in technical sales, product management, and animal health and nutrition.

Lenaïg joins Corbion with 13 years of experience at Skretting, a Nutreco company, where she held key roles in research, product management, marketing, and business development. Her work included leading R&D projects for shrimp nutritional solutions, managing global feed products, driving innovation pipelines, and leading strategic growth initiatives in early-life nutrition for both fish and shrimp species. Her deep expertise in fish and shrimp nutrition, precision feeding and farming, and innovation management is complemented by a PhD in shrimp nutrition.

In her new role at Corbion, Lenaïg will focus on expanding the company’s presence in the global aquaculture market through strategic business development and by fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
