CPM Acquires Nanjing Ruiya Polymer Processing Equipment Co., Ltd.

CPM Acquisition Corporation (CPM),a  leading supplier of processing equipment to the animal feed, oilseed, biofuels, food processing, and plastics  compounding industries, has announced the acquisition of Nanjing Ruiya Polymer Processing Equipment Co., Ltd. of Nanjing, China.

Following completion of the acquisition, the CPM Ruiya Extrusion division will be aligned with CPM Century Extrusion.
The addition of Ruiya is a significant advancement in CPM’s mission to offer its customers the finest engineered, manufactured, and supported extrusion technologies, allowing customers to achieve the lowest total operating cost solutions for their compounding needs.

CPM Century Extrusion President Bob Urtel announced the acquisition from the K-Show in Dusseldorf, Germany, saying, “We are proud to have the people of Ruiya join us as we continue our mission to bring the very best products and services to the worldwide compounding marketplace. Our combined resources for engineering, manufacturing and process support, along with the outstanding product portfolios and service networks of both companies, will shape the future of extrusion equipment performance and value.”

The combination of Century Extrusion and Ruiya will form a powerful manufacturing and service network with a strong team of application specialists that will compete on a long-term, global scale to serve its customers.

With the addition of Ruiya, CPM’s worldwide primary process equipment team will be over 950 members strong.

The acquisition will significantly expand CPM’s portfolio of primary processing equipment for markets served by compounding extrusion technologies and extends the existing CPM global solution network in Asia. CPM will continue manufacturing at all existing locations and will continue the production of all existing product lines.
