California Pellet Mill (CPM) sees a bright future after the purchase of the company by Gilbert Global Equity Partners.
Under its California Pellet Mill, Roskamp Champion, and Beta Raven brands, CPM is the world’s leading manufacturer and designer of pelleting, particle size reduction, and automation systems for the animal feed milling and oilseed processing industries.  The company operates plants in Iowa, Indiana, Missouri, New Hampshire, Ireland, Singapore, China and the Netherlands. 

CPM President Ted Waitman sees the new relationship with Gilbert Global as a positive step in the development of CPM.  “Gilbert Global values the same things we do,” he says.  “They invest for long-term appreciation of their companies.  Like CPM, they believe in looking for the right opportunities to build a company’s value over time.”

Gilbert Global purchased the company from Compass Group International LLC on Dec. 31, 2003.
