Dr. Martin R. Moreira, Ph. D.

Normal production ponds were used. Pond number 18 was the treated trial and ponds number 13,15 and 17 were the control groups. All four ponds were placed into production on the same day. The larva used for ponds 18, 13, 15 and 17 originated from the same lot. The trial started in week # 4. This is when AquaKure® Liquid was first applied to pond # 18. The delayed treatment initiation was due to some problems/delays in getting the product into Mexico. Therefore production week number 5 is the first week of the test. AquaKure Liquid was added to the pond as per the manufacturers’ recommendations, (Dinatec, Inc.)
