Evonik was awarded with special recognition in the categories of “Business Responsibility and Ethics” and “Supply Chain Management” at the Sustainability Business Awards (SBA) Singapore 2018. Masagos Zulkifli, Singapore’s Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, honored Evonik and other winning companies at the awards ceremony on July 26.

Last year Evonik won the SBA 2017 for the very first time in the categories of “Energy Management”, “Best Newcomer” and “Business Responsibility and Ethics – Special Recognition.”

“Having received this award is an affirmation of the positive impact our sustainability efforts have created along the entire value chain,” said Peter Meinshausen, President of Evonik Asia Pacific South. “We are committed beyond our operations and product portfolio, we continue to provide long-term value for the markets we operate in. We align all our businesses consequently to be as sustainable and resource efficient as possible. Our customers are our partners in this future driven strategy.”

The SBA is conducted by Global Initiatives in partnership with leading international professional firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
