Extru-Tech, Inc. announces key personnel addition; opens new branch office location
Enzhi Michael Cheng, Ph. D. has joined the staff of Extru-Tech, Inc. as Director of Sales for Asia and as a Technical Sales Engineer. Dr. Cheng was previously engaged with the Kansas State University Department of Grain Science and Industry as a (Fellow) Post-Doc Research Scientist. His education, research efforts, and experience in Extrusion and Agricultural Engineering is extensive and will afford Extru-Tech clients another solid resource to assist with determining the best extrusion solution for their manufacturing requirements.

The branch office, located within Kansas State University’s state of the art BIVAP (Bioprocessing and Industrial Value-Added Program) facility, provides Extru-Tech, Inc. with many excellent opportunities. One key benefit to customers is the office being located in the same building as the KSU Extrusion Lab, which is a major service provider to the industry for pilot and bench-scale trial runs for various projects and products. Our staff is very familiar with the well-equipped lab’s pilot-scale equipment and their capable staff. This provides Extru-Tech and our clients another avenue to make comprehensive trial runs and test the results.
