GERMANY - Leiber GmbH invests in aquaculture

For almost 60 years the company Leiber, based in Bramsche, Lower Saxony, has been one of the leading manufacturers of speciality yeast products \"Made in Germany\". From the 1st of April 2013, Mr. Holger Kühlwein is supporting Leiber GmbH\'s \"Aquaculture\" key accounts. This latest increase in staff sees Leiber GmbH well equipped to meet the demands of the growing market in the aquaculture sector.

For almost 60 years the company Leiber, based in Bramsche, Lower Saxony, has been one of the leading manufacturers of speciality yeast products \"Made in Germany\". Using innovative biotechnological processing techniques, the natural raw material Brewers\' yeast is converted into high-quality products that are then used in the animal nutrition, foodstuffs, food supplements and biotechnology sectors. With two locations in Lower Saxony, Germany, as well as additional production facilities in Poland and Russia, Leiber\'s over 160 dedicated employees manufacture Brewers\' yeast products and yeast extracts of the highest quality.

From the 1st of April 2013, Mr. Holger Kühlwein is supporting Leiber GmbH\'s \"Aquaculture\" key accounts. Over the last four years Mr. Kühlwein underwent an EU’s 7th Framework Programme funded doctoral training at Plymouth University (UK) conducting research on ß-glucan use in aquaculture. During his undergraduate and advanced studies of animal sciences with focus on animal nutrition, he has been specifically involved in fish nutrition and aquaculture. His responsibilities will include among other things supporting and expanding existing markets as well as recruiting new sales partners. As a trained fish farmer, he is the competent point of contact for all areas relating to animal nutrition with a focus on fish.

This latest increase in staff sees Leiber GmbH well equipped to meet the demands of the growing market in the aquaculture sector.
