New online platform for learning, managing, and scaling insect farming

The online service and global community platform is designed to support and empower current and future insect farmers worldwide.

Manna Insect, a provider of insect farming technology, has launched Insect Farm Hub, a comprehensive online service and global community platform designed to support and empower current and future insect farmers worldwide.

The Insect Farm Hub offers a one-stop digital destination for:

  • Online learning via constantly updated video tutorials, training courses, webinars and podcasts (both free and paid).
  • Farm management tools to track inputs, outputs, tasks, workload, and staff contribution.
  • A marketplace to buy and sell insect farming products (e.g. Black Soldier Fly eggs, live larvae, dried larvae, frass, crickets, mealworm, etc.), tools, equipment, and services - the first sellers and buyers are already on the platform.

Free to join and get started with learning, the platform allows users to unlock more content and features by either purchasing credits or earning credits through actions such as inviting new users, answering surveys, or completing small tasks. By performing these tasks, users can access all content and features for free with credits. Alternatively, users can purchase credits directly or subscribe to a premium membership, granting full access to all features and content instantly.

Insect Farm Hub also offers:

  • Weekly podcast episodes and an archive of past episodes,
  • Bi-weekly live webinars with changing topics and a recording archive,
  • Monthly live Q&A sessions for premium users,
  • A credit-based rewards system to gamify learning and community engagement.

Coming soon are advanced professional tools, including:

  • A Business Case Calculator to evaluate insect farm profitability,
  • Breeding and Growth EƯiciency Evaluation Tools for production performance analysis,
  • An Insulation Calculator for climate control decision-making, and
  • A Virtual Neonate Counter to estimate egg count.

Manna Insect has also introduced an AI Mentor to assist users with questions related to Black Soldier Fly (BSF) farming and broader insect production topics with a continuously expanding knowledge base.
