The Alltech Coppens Aqua Centre officially opened its doors following extensive refurbishment, and released a new video highlighting the changes to the facility.
The innovation centre will be a leading international aquatic research facility focused on excellence in feed solutions for aqua producers around the world.
"What you have here is the hybrid of a farm and a research center so all of the research being done in this facility is being done with the single goal of improving commercial feeds."
"We can have a really robust experimental design and test lots of different diets and lots of different raw materials,\" explained Dr. Phillip Lyons. "We can also compare digestibility studies with the same raw materials in a growth trial. We can compare both things now."
The new research center will further develop the company\'s aqua research programs and allow them to significantly increase the amount and type of aqua innovations they embark upon.
