At the recent Aqua Expo El Oro fair, organized by the National Chamber of Aquaculture of Ecuador, Nicovita presented on technological transformation and its tools; the application to the productive realities of the aquaculture industry.
The event was attended by more than 1,000 shrimpers and 14 top-level speakers who presented the main advances of the shrimp industry.
In his speech, Oscar Pérez Perdomo, Engineer and Technical Manager of Nicovita, emphasized the role played by technology, which is now available to everyone, improving profitability. In addition, he highlighted Nicovita as a technological reference of the local industry.
Regarding the importance of the digital transformation of aquaculture, the executive said that it is a very important variable because it allows the producer to be closer to the reality of his crop, integrating the relevant information of the entire productive process on the farm, and generating efficiency in making correct decisions at the right time.
"The aquaculture of the future is projected with many challenges that can only be overcome with innovation and technology. With this transformation, tangible improvements will be achieved, such as higher productivity in a sustainable manner and lower production costs," said Oscar Pérez.
