Insect company Nutrition Technologies (NT) has rebranded as Sentara Group (SNTR), marking the beginning of a new era following a recent strengthening of its leadership and pending changes in ownership. “While the company is evolving, its core commitment to quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction remains unchanged—and will soon be stronger than ever,” said Sentara Group.

Sentara Group produces black soldier fly larvae products, including insect meal and whole dried black soldier fly larvae, at its separate GMP and HACCP-certified facility in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, with full regulatory approval for export to the EU and US.

The group also produces NT’s pioneering frass-based bioactive organic fertilizers and biostimulants, specifically designed to combat key tropical fungal plant diseases and enhance soil health. These products will remain manufactured at its dedicated Control Union-certified biofertilizer facility, meeting the strict standards for export and use as organic fertilizers in Japan, the EU, Australia, Canada, and the US.

"Our name is evolving, and so is our commitment to those who rely on us,” said Sentara Group. “We are building upon a strong foundation while enhancing our processes, expanding our product offerings, and strengthening our customer support. Our goal is not just to maintain trust—but to exceed expectations.”

Sentara Group is actively developing new products, processes, and solutions across the circular economy value chain, leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive sustainable innovation and create additional value for its customers, stakeholders, and Malaysia’s Black Soldier Fly (BSF) ecosystem.

“We are poised to launch cutting-edge products and ventures later this year that will not only advance our mission of sustainability but also support Malaysia’s food security and biotech agendas, elevate industry standards, and drive more effective circular economy solutions for agriculture,” said Sentara Group.
