Kurt Wegleitner has joined Phytobiotics Futterzusatzstoffe GmbH as managing director to oversee the business and product management sectors.

“We are delighted to have Kurt Wegleitner, a proven expert in animal nutrition and health with a strong international network, on board with the Phytobiotics group. In order to underpin our expectations for the company's development, we have invested strategically in our production facilities in recent years, made the product portfolio more attractive for our customers, and expanded our global distribution network. Our new team member, Kurt Wegleitner, will now create the best conditions for us to develop our growth opportunities globally and be close to our customers with our subsidiaries and partners. With Kurt, we feel very well-positioned for the future. Kurt simply fits in with the ‘Phyto family’,” said Hermann Roth, CEO and the current managing director and owner of the company.

Hermann Roth will focus on the management of the banking, suppliers, finance and IT, production, "pre-market risk investments" and administration departments.

During his career, Kurt Wegleitner has held various positions in sales, marketing and regional management at Biomin for ten years before joining the Addcon group in 2008. As managing director, he led the fortunes of all business units in Europe and Asia.

“I have known Phytobiotics Futterzusatzstoffe GmbH since its foundation. Over all these years, I have followed and admired the development. I see my new task in the Phytobiotics Group and the cooperation with all stakeholders as a great but positive challenge. I look forward to mastering it together with the teams and the owners,” said Wegleitner.
