Nine years ago, Process Integration was founded with the mission of delivering the best service and the most efficient solutions in process plants. Since then, the company has experienced remarkable growth, and in September 2024, the headquarters moved into a new 1,200 m² facility in Skanderborg to accommodate its employees and future projects.

Lars Johansen, co-founder, Group CEO & sales director, reflects on the company’s remarkable journey from his new office. “From the start, we knew we wanted to follow projects all through—regardless of size. With our experience in installing and optimizing process plants globally, it quickly became clear that the demand was greater than we had anticipated. The complexity of the projects grew, and so did Process Integration.”

In the past few years, the company has expanded with offices in Chile and Norway, as well as new satellite offices in Viborg and Vejle. Additionally, they have appointed an agent in the USA and established a workshop in Hørning.

Adapting to market conditions and trends

The past four years have been marked by rapid development. “The COVID-19 pandemic, followed by crises such as the war in Ukraine, required quick and strategic decisions. We have successfully navigated challenges like price increases and uncertain market conditions while continuing to focus on expanding our competencies and solutions,” said Johansen.

With an emphasis on sustainable technologies and eco-friendly solutions, Process Integration is dedicated to reducing CO2 emissions and optimizing the use of existing resources. “We must develop technologies that support the green transition while meeting our customers' needs for reliable solutions,” Johansen added.

Despite the rapid growth, Process Integration's core values remain intact. The company’s DNA is built on a close integration of design, implementation, and hands-on installation, where engineering and practical experience go hand in hand. With a team of approximately 90 employees, many with both technical and hands-on backgrounds, Process Integration is capable of delivering solutions tailored to the unique needs of its customers.

“Our strength lies in the breadth of our experience and our ability to share knowledge across projects and industries. This means we can always offer realistic, optimized solutions that work in practice—something our customers truly appreciate,” Johansen concluded.
