Protix has grown fast from startup to scale up and has now fully transitioned to a commercial-scale operator. To match its new status and enforce the commercial strategy, the company hired Josien Hermans as the new chief commercial officer.
Hermans is an accomplished commercial expert in both international food and feed business. She has broad experience in the ingredients industry, as well as in consumer goods. She held various commercial leadership positions at FrieslandCampina, Cargill and Unilever where she led commercial teams and projects that brought innovative solutions while building strategic partnerships.
Josien will be responsible for the overall commercial and sales strategy, leading the sales team, marketing and product development activities, and driving the company’s international growth.
This new appointment reflects the company’s focus on continuous growth and international expansion.
