QualiTech, a provider of ingredients and solutions for the animal and agriculture industry, has opened of a new Ag Nutrition Innovation and Technology Center at their headquarters in Chaska, Minnesota, USA. The company has doubled the size of their product development staff, driving the need for this new facility. “In order to keep pace with today’s evolving and innovative research and development trends, we needed to expand our capabilities while keeping with our focus on safety,” explained Kye Ploen, VP of Business Development and QualiTech shareholder.

“This new collaborative space has been developed with the end customer in mind. The carefully designed lab allows for increased experimentation capacity and heightened team engagement,” said Erik Hagestuen, Director of Research and Product Development for QualiTech Ag Nutrition. “The work pattern flows have been designed to maximize efficiency and teamwork, thereby enabling QualiTech to respond more effectively to its customer’s needs.”

The company will continue developing its protected minerals line for animals, QualiTech’s SQM ®.
