Animal protein ingredients producer, VEOS Group, opened a new protein plant in Monzon, Spain. Together with its joint venture partner, Vall Companys, the companies strongly believe in the valorization of animal byproducts for the future.

The new facility is the most modern plant of the group and is designed for further expansion. As a center of circular economy, the company embedded the latest environmental technologies using less energy and will reuse heat and water wherever possible.

“Spain is one of Europe’s most important countries in the production of animal proteins and is of strategic importance for the group,” said Robert Slee, managing director, VEOS Group.
