Zinpro Corporation appointed Piergiorgio Persona as country manager – Italy. In this newly created role, he will be responsible for leading the company’s strategic direction in Italy across all species and products.

Persona was most recently employed as a key account manager, with marketing and office oversight in Italy, by a global animal nutrition and veterinary pharmaceutical company. His work experience also includes roles as a vitamin and mineral premix formulator for dairy and swine, and as a technical and scientific advisor for disinfectants, essential oils and flavonoids.

“Piergiorgio is exceptionally knowledgeable about the common animal production challenges in Italy and understands how to improve a customer’s return on investment across multiple species through better nutrition, animal production and feed management,” said Tim Horne, regional business enterprise manager – Europe and South Africa for Zinpro Corporation. “Both his practical and scientific expertise will help our customers improve the performance and wellness of the animals under their care, while also improving their sustainability and profitability.”
