FAMSUN and BiOALiMENTAR build a new multispecies balanced food factory

The Ecuadorian company, BiOALiMENTAR, has inaugurated its new factory for production of multispecies balanced food, which will operate in Tungurahua, Ecuador. The new factory was designed and built in collaboration with FAMSUN.

The Ecuadorian company, BiOALiMENTAR, has inaugurated its new factory for production of multispecies balanced food, which will operate in Tungurahua, Ecuador. The new factory, with an investment of around $30 million, was designed and built in collaboration with FAMSUN, using the most advanced construction techniques and is equipped with the latest technology, and it has been considered as the most modern plant of the entire South Pacific.

After three years of construction process, the factory is ready to operate. It has a production capacity of up to 12,800 metric tons per month of product and can store 30,000 tons of raw material between silos and flat warehouses for bulk products, such as maize, soybeans and wheat. In addition, it can store up to half a million sacks of product.

BiOALiMENTAR is an Ecuadorian company with more than 50 years of experience in the production of balanced food for more than 15 animal species. It has now undertaken the recruitment of international markets, a process in which this new factory will play a key role.
