New facilities of Winfish-Zeigler in Mexico

The company Belenes has opened its second industrial plant in Jalisco, Mexico. The new facility will produce feed for marine species such as totoaba, striped sea bass and Seriola lalandi under the trade name Winfish.

The company Belenes has opened its second industrial plant in Jalisco, México. The new facility will produce feed for marine species such as totoaba, striped sea bass and Seriola lalandi under the trade name Winfish. The annual production capacity of the plant will be 100,000 metric tons.

Carlos Sainz, Sales Director, said that the new industrial plant has been designed according to environmental and sustainability criteria to reduce environmental impact per ton produced, for example, through the incorporation of alternative energy sources such as natural gas and solar panels.

Winfish – Zeigler fish feed is produced as a collaboration of the 45 years of experience in animal nutrition and feeding of Pronua S.A. and the production technology and the formulation of Zeigler Bros, USA.
