The Center\'s expressed mission is the achievement of excellence in research and training in the discipline of Fisheries Science as well as Technology Transfer. Programs emphasizing fishery management, ichthyology, fish genetics, fish ecology aquatic toxicology and aquaculture have been developed in the Center
