IDAH increased production capacity in extruder dies with new investments in Vertical Machining Center (VMC). “This new machine will share the production load of the existing machines and give us an extra edge in keeping up with our customers' demands,” the company said.

IDAH provides extruder dies for all extruder brands and with the combination of the high-quality material and streamlined processing method, IDAH extruder dies have the durability and profitability as buying from the original manufacturer.

The new VMC is equipped with a spindle that spins up to 15,000 rpm and can achieve up to a 10 microns (0.01 mm) precision level. This addition opens up new possibilities to manufacture extruder dies with a wider variety of hole types and dimensions especially with holes under 1.0 mm.

This machine is equipped with a linear guide rail that replaces sliding with rolling action with zero gaps, enables more sensitive response and has higher positioning accuracy in forming a uniform arc and bevel cutting with uniform surface strips. This feature enables customizable plate die design which includes single orifice, trilobe or quadlobe patterns with different holes patterns, open areas, and compression ratios. The plate die is produced with a mirror finish interior to ensure greater material flow, no material accumulation, and easy cleaning.

IDAH has more than 40 years of experience in manufacturing machinery and providing process solutions for the aquafeed industry. More information here.
