With the COVID-19 virus being declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization, the Quebec government has banned all events of more than 250 people. As a result, Insects to Feed the World 2020 conference was postponed. The Local Organizing Committee considers the health of speakers, exhibitors and the larger community of utmost importance.

The organization is still finalizing details for the postponed events, but they have already managed to reserve the same conference facilities for June 5-9, 2021.

“We will be in touch regarding specific administrative details for those who have already registered, as well as options for our many industry partners and participants of the tradeshow. We are certainly disappointed and do apologize for the inconvenience, however, the health and safety of all of us and our families hold far greater value,” the organization said.
