The 10th International Asian Fisheries and Aquaculture Forum (10AFAF) jointly organized by the Asian Fisheries Society (AFS) and The Korean Society of Fisheries and Aquatic Science (KOSFAS) will bring together distinguished scientists from all over the world to discuss issues pertaining to sustainable fisheries and aquaculture, including among other topics, fish habitats and ecosystems (marine and freshwater), and the effective utilization of fish, shellfish and algae resources in the Asian-Pacific region. The forum will focus on the theme is Blue Waters and Green Fisheries

Preparations for FIAAP, VICTAM & GRAPAS Asia 2012 continue to progress well despite the flooding that has hit Thailand and Bangkok. The situation is now improving with flood levels going down. Much of Bangkok has remained flood free and the majority of the transportation system is now operating, including the underground railway and the BTS Skytrain
