The State Government has introduced changes to aquaculture regulations in a move to simplify regulatory requirements, streamline operations and reduce red-tape for South Australia's AUD 225 million aquaculture industry. South Australia’s aquaculture industry, which produces almost half of the state’s total seafood output, farms some of the most sought after seafood in the world including southern bluefin tuna, Pacific oysters, yellowtail kingfish and greenlip abalone.
