Aova Technologies, Inc. names new Chief Executive Officer 

Wisconsin, USA- based agricultural biotechnology company, Aova Technologies, Inc., announced that Jesus Martinez has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. 

Jesus comes to Aova Tech with over 20 years of experience in the Agricultural industry most recently as Managing Director-North America at ABS Global Inc. 

Current Chariman of Aova Tehcnologies, Bruce Neviaser, is excited about the contributions that Jesus Martinez can bring to the business based upon what he has accomplished with his former employer, ABS Global, over the last 20 years.  “Jesus has a proven track record managing and developing international business around the globe and his skill set will be a valuable asset to Aova’s future success” commented Neviaser. 

“I have been impressed with the science staff and product performance in different animal species.  The prospects for a strong portfolio of products that will meet the demands of producers worldwide is quite exciting and without a doubt will give Aova Technologies a platform to grow and prosper as a business” said Jesus Martinez. 

“My commercial experience in global environments will help our busi-ness to grow our revenue base and increase the numbers of customers we serve.  By having a strong scientific and commercial platform we will enhance our product positioning, generate strong revenue and profit base and deliver strong results for our shareholders” 

Martinez began his career at ABS as HR manager in 1987, following which he held various positions at parent company W.R. Grace & Co, returning to ABS in 1992 as Director of HR.  In 1995 he moved to the operating side of the business as Vice President and General Manager for Latin America & Car-ibbean Fertilizer Division.  In 2000, he became the Vice-President of Marketing and Sales for Infigen, the biotechnology business of ABS.  

He became Latin America General Manager in 2002 and held that position until November of 2007 when he accepted his role as Managing Director of the ABS North America Business. While in his Latin America assignment Jesus also held the position of Managing Director of the Genus UK Busi-ness from May 2005 through June of 2006.
