Novus to Upgrade Automated Supply Chain Management System

Novus International, Inc. is upgrading the infrastructure of its patented AIMS automated supply chain management system.

Novus pioneered vendor managed inventory for feed industry bulk liquids in 1993.  Since then, the AIMS® automated supply chain management system has improved supply chain efficiency, reduced environmental impact (by reducing IBC and drum usage) and supported the growth of Novus's liquid feed ingredients.

The new system will improve reliability and upgrade the telemetry system to a sustainable technology platform. It uses satellite communication with a submersible differential pressure sensor for level measurement.  The new platform provides precise and dependable inventory readings, a back-up power supply and a local display of tank inventory. This technology upgrade will allow Novus to better monitor customer inventory and continue to economically deliver less-than-truckload (LTL) bulk liquids such as ALIMET®, feed supplement and SANTOQUIN®, feed preservative.

Novus has contracted with Liquid Systems, Inc. of Simpsonville, South Carolina and other local contractors who will make the equipment replacement to insure no interruption of service.

Novus customers will continue to be able to monitor their tank inventory level and usage through the local display as well on the internet via Novus Premium Services at Novus's website www.novusint.com. Customer's wanting access to Novus Premium Services should contact their Sales Manager for registration.
