Wenger appoints Aquaculture Process Technology Manager; expands sales force in Latin America

Joe Kearns was recently appointed Aquaculture Process Technology Manager by Wenger Manufacturing, Inc., Sabetha, Kansas (USA). He will be responsible for strategy and support of all the company’s aquaculture projects worldwide. Kearns has been with Wenger for 34 years, working in extrusion processing system layout & design, and in sales and engineering support throughout Latin America, the Pacific Rim, and other geographic areas with significant aquaculture activity. He most recently served as Corporate Sales Manager for South America, Australia, and New Zealand.

To date, Kearns has published nearly 70 technical articles and has over 50 industry speaking engagements to his credit. LaVon Wenger, President of Wenger, says: “Joe’s experience within the aquatic feed sector is a real benefit to us and to our clients. He brings valuable insight to the total extrusion process – and more specifically as it applies to the aquatic industry.”

Wenger recently hired José Mauricio Bernardi as Director of Sales for Latin America. Bernardi previously worked with Wenger for 13 years as an independent agent in Brasil; he will now handle Wenger business in Latin America, with Brasil and Argentina his key areas of sales responsibility. He brings extensive knowledge of the industry, the region, the products and the processes to the position.
