A floating dock in Puerto Cabulco in Los Lagos region, in Southern Chile, collapsed with approximately 288 tons of salmon feed. Around 82.5 tons were medicated feed.

“Provisional measures were taken due to the probable serious and imminent risk to the flora and fauna of the marine ecosystem near the Cargo Terminal-Puerto Calbuco, both in the water column and in the substrate,” said superintendent of the Environment, Cristóbal De La Maza.
