The Global Standard for Responsible Supply (IFFO RS) has recognized the progress being made by Thai and Vietnamese stakeholders to bring the region's fisheries up to higher quality standards in pursuit of certification.
With a 25 percent extra production capacity, the company expects to increase flexibility, quality and performance of fish feeds. Construction of the additional production line is expected to be ready in Q4, 2019.
The Steering Committee reached an in-principle agreement on the overall structure and content of the standard and a final draft will be finalized by ASC’s Standards and Science Team.
