Sparos, in partnership with Riasearch, launched Fit Feeding Tables (FiT), a tool that applies validated scientific models to simulate a given species energy and protein requirements considering each farm growth curve.
B-TRAXIM®ALL-IN-①, based on glycine and on a unique, patented technology, is a combination of different organic trace minerals that contains the same proportion of minerals in each particle.
The company has developed a new sustainable product that inhibits bacterial growth and biofilm formation and can be used in all production stages including feed preservation.
Olmix presented Myco’Simulator, an app that displays the five major mycotoxins, compares them and gives access to their physiochemical characteristics and information on their toxicity towards animals.
The newly re-designed Hamex® Hammer Mill from Dinnissen Process Technology offers an immediate and easily demonstrable increase in profitability and a shorter ROI thanks to a lower price, fewer operations when changing screens and more efficient milling.
BIOMIN launched the first-ever water-soluble purified enzyme that can be easily sprayed on extruded feed and effectively degrades fumonisins into non-toxic metabolites.
Leiber GmbH has expanded its product range in the area of combined yeast products and adjusted their feed to meet current market trends offering now an innovative combination with grain-free fibre components in Leiber YeaFi® - The Yeast Fibre Concept.
To overcome the variability in performance of yeast cell wall products Ohly is introducing a new yeast cell wall product produced from primary cultivated yeast by hydrolysis: Ohly-GO® Wall. This product combines the health benefits of Mannan Oligosaccharides (MOS) and β-glucans.
Zinpro Corporation has announced the launch of ProPath®, its most versatile Performance Minerals® innovation for the U.S. and Mexico to optimize trace mineral nutrition for multiple species. “Our ProPath product line relies on two synergistic, amino-acid absorption pathways (cationic and anionic) to elevate trace mineral nutrition accessibility in the animal. By optimizing these pathways, our ProPath innovation advances the science of animal nutrition, allowing minerals to be more effectively absorbed and metabolically available in the animal’s organs, tissues and enzyme systems."
Extru-Tech has introduced its new Self-Adjusting Die/Knife Cutter Head. The new advanced feature cutter head can be used across the full spectrum of wear plates, and provides reductions in maintenance costs and downtime. “Not only can they be re-sharpened, but the new blades have been reported to last from 2 1/2 to 10 times longer than cast blades. This translates into lower overall cost, particularly when you consider the automatic adjustment feature allows one cutter head system to be used on multiple dies."
Cargill has announced the launch of Latitude™, a plant-based fish oil alternative that provides long chain Omega-3 fatty acids for aquafeed. Fresh and saltwater feed trials have shown that 100 percent of fish oil can be replaced with Latitude in commercial salmon feed with no effect on fish growth rates, fish health or fillet Omega-3 content. “The growth in aquaculture production brings an increase in demand for Omega-3s. With Latitude, Cargill is combining our aquaculture expertise and canola innovation capabilities to help meet that demand using plant-based Omega-3s in aquafeed."
Phileo has announced the launch of Prosaf®, a highly palatable source of small size bioavailable peptides, free amino acids and nucleotides, designed to boost fish growth, performance and disease resistance. Prosaf® is a water-soluble purified yeast extract, obtained by primary fermentation with a high protein content. Pre-launch studies with shrimp proved that supplementing low-fishmeal diets with Prosaf® results in the same feed intake, growth performance and restored immune status, as comparative diets with three times as much fishmeal content.
Format Solutions has announced two new products, iNTRAC™ and iNDIGO Labels™, as part of its iNDIGO™ formulation software suite, alongside a new version of iNDIGO™. The iNTRAC™ product is a tool used for archiving the full history of product formulas, along with associated data used in creating formulas. iNDIGO Labels™ provides easy-to-use features for defining label content, including ingredient listing, feeding statements and medication details. Declarations are quickly generated based on iNDIGO™ formulas.
Steinsvik is preparing to release its line of 4K cameras for feed monitoring. 4K is the new standard for image resolution and enables farmers to use even bigger video screens without any quality loss. More information in the image means more possibilities for image recognition and image processing. "Our customers are reporting that observing the fish is easier with the new cameras and that it gives them an operational advantage when feeding."
Bühler has launched LumoVision™, a breakthrough in sorting technology that will minimize toxic contamination in maize and improve yield, by identifying and removing cancer-causing, aflatoxin-infected grains. Developed in partnership with Microsoft, the launch of LumoVision™ is a significant advance for the maize processing industry in its fight against mycotoxins, the most poisonous of which is aflatoxin. The innovation can eliminate up to 90% of contaminated maize. “Advances in digital technology, together with our sorting and food safety expertise, make this an unrivalled system that contributes to solving a major global food safety and security challenge.”
Dr. Eckel Animal Nutrition released the new product AntaOx Aqua, a pure botanical feed additive with a unique ingredient combination and reliable source of flavonoid molecules.
