The promise of aquaculture explained  ... over 16 days during the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games

600,000 people are expected to visit the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Kentucky over the next 16 days. While over 100 Million will watch the 16 equestrian medal events on TV, the WEG attendees will be able to see the future of fish farming at the Alltech Experience. Included in the 2 hectares (4 acres) pavilion is an area focusing on fish farming and the promise the Aquaculture has to meet the desires of the growing population to eat more fish.

The famous Cincinnati/Newport Aquarium will showcase marine wildlife and feature an African King Penguin and alligator. Alltech’s Pavillion exhibits will seek to address some serious questions – can farmed fish replace the falling catch from the sea? How will farmed fish be fed sustainably in the future? Can fish be kept healthy and productive in a manner which meets consumer expectations?  Visit www.alltech.com for more on the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games
